Just finished reading this masterpiece.
I reserve 5 stars for books that move me beyond the craft—books where the characters and humanity shine through on every page. Theo of Golden earned every one of those stars.
This is a life-changing masterpiece. I stumbled across it by chance, and it far exceeded anything I hoped for.
With every chapter, I found myself asking questions that begged to be answered while feeling inspired to think and live in a bigger way.
Theo of Golden will make you consider who you are and how you show up—for the people you love, the people you know, and the strangers you pass on the street. There's a quiet crescendo building throughout, one that rings loud, clear, and sublime by the final pages.
This book is a literary gem. A well-orchestrated song. A work of art that plays in the mind's eye. But more than anything, it is a testament to what's possible when love and compassion meet on the page. It speaks to those of us who have faith and those of us who have lost it.
By the end, you'll find more than a satisfying story. You'll realize you can reclaim what you've lost. And in a surprisingly short span of time, you can change not only yourself but the people around you.

Bravo to Adam Levi on his debut novel. I'm now a devoted fan. This book celebrates life's many gifts, but it is itself a gift—to literature and to everyone fortunate enough to read it.
